ZARKA CENTRE OLD HOUSE (sleeps 6, up to 9)

This beautifully renovated traditional stone-built house is situated in 36 stremata (10 acres) of olive grove and virgin hillside which constitute the grounds of the Zarka Centre. It enjoys wonderful views from all rooms, as well as from the two verandahs. It consists of a large living room with dining area, a kitchen with patio doors onto a verandah and three bedrooms (one double, and two which can be double or twin). The double bedroom has an en-suite shower room. One of the twin rooms is accessed from outside the house and has a hand-basin. There is a spacious family bathroom with corner bath/shower, hand-basin, bidet and WC; there is also a separate WC accessed from the verandah. The living room has additional bench sleeping facilities for one adult and one child if required, and there is a fold-up bed available for use in any room.
The house is surrounded by pleasant gardens one of which contains a reed-bed system for the ecological treatment of waste water from the house. Some uneven paths and a drop mean this accommodation is not suitable for unsupervised small children or those with serious mobility problems. Some access to the (unattended) swimming pool at the Zarka Centre Hall may be available.
The house is available for rent on a self-catering basis (minimum rental 3 nights), or we offer a double/single room-only on a nightly basis (without self-catering, shared use of facilities; continental breakfast available €5 per person). 5% discount available for stays of more than 7 nights; long term rental (more than 3 weeks) - rates negotiable.
