Porto Boufalo
A small picturesque fishing village on the Gulf of Evia Porto Boufalo is approached by a steep country road and from the top of the mountain the views of this marvellous natural harbour are breathtaking. There are 2 or 3 fish tavernas at the waters edge and this is the perfect place to sit and enjoy an ouzo while the sun goes down. Unlike other coastal villages in the area the narrow strip of beach is pebbly, although you can also swim off the rocks.
The nearest shopping facilities are in Zarakes and Krieza and, as there is no bus service, a car is essential.
